Wanted a cheap portable handheld for my 5yo. It does the job. As previous descriptions have said, there's no search feature, so certain categories like the NES has 2000 games so scrolling through them is difficult. Also, retro RPG's on the SNES are in Chinese Simplified so I can't play final fantasy 6 or Chrono Trigger. The NEO GEO Roms crash, as well as other arcade ROMS. However, there is a quick save feature so I'm actually able to play through whole games like Alien VS Predator and Final Fight just by simply saving every few minutes and return when the game crashes and reloads. Honestly, for a $20 handheld, it's 10x better than what you could get on say Amazon. So for what I wanted, it's still above and beyond for the price point.

My daughter likes it and I was able to put my own games on it so she can play my childhood favorites. Stock firmware is okay but not great, no custom firmware available as far as I can tell, otherwise the screen looks good buttons feel fine was worth the $16 bucks I paid for it on sale, but I probably wouldn't spend more than $22 if you're looking to get one. It did arrive before the estimated arrival date which was cool.

I bought this so that my son could play pokemon, but after trying for a while, I think that it is impossible unless he learns chinese. (the only rom that works is chinese language, not english).

Good little device, hands most things up to NES through SNES and Neo Geo era games well. But does have some slow down on some stuff once you hit the PS1 and beyond era of games. But most Neo Geo and and down stuff will work well. Basically most of the 8 bit and 16 bit era stuff is going to work well. Those should be your expectations picking this up.
Good for kids say 16 and down to have something to kill time on a trip or family gathering.

The screen does not have very good viewing angles especially left/right.
The most boring are the slow down especially at the start of most games.
It may be due to the SD card of poor quality.

it's a nice portable console, but if it feels made out of a cheap plastic that I feel, if I drop it, it will break.The interface is a little bit hard to navigate, and some of the emulation stutters while playing, I added Mario Bros. and Sonic The Hedgehog from my own rom collection, you can do that if you have a PC, and it's easy as adding to the right folders. But overall, it is well constructed. The back buttons and the front ones feel good. The analog sticks feel OK. The screen is DEFINITELY not high definition, but it's clear enough to play most games. I will gift this to my nephew, so I hope he likes it, I'm trying to show him what his uncle used to play with when he was 11 like him

This handheld is okay for playing older games and you get a ton from different systems. It's simple to navigate and select different games, everything I tried ran well enough. The software works and allows save states and custom controls which is great at this price point (I paid around 16 USD).
The screen has pretty harsh viewing angles but looks fairly good otherwise. Unfortunately the screen is plastic so it's going to get scratched easily, mine already has some light scratches. Brightness is good enough for indoors.
Controls work, but they're not the best experience for me. My issues is with the D-pad and A, B, X, Y buttons, they're quite high (tall) and pretty clicky plus the D-pad will sometimes register diagonal input when I'm just trying to go left, right, up, or down only.
Build quality is okay for less than $20, it's basically entirely plastic and feels cheap. The fit and finish is good though.
I'd recommend this if you want something inexpensive.

The system works great for all classic games, I think that game boy advanced offers so many great games to play, but everything else is pointless to me to play another old Mario game that I played when I was 5. But a Nintendo switch already do waste your time in old junky games. So far the game I bought it for works great. But why can’t it play psp games or ps1 games at the very least. I mean come on not even n64 games? Who cares about those though no one cares about n64 games unless you got a switch. So if you wanna play dragon ball a and Pokémon gba games then this system is great. It’s very simple and practical. Sound is good controls are a 4/5 stars. Difficulty rating 5/5 for simplicity.

great little emulator, I do have a few issues, there is a single dead pixel that is a permanent red dot on the screen, also the viewing angles are absolutely horrible! but considering it's a $20(USD) it's a fantastic handheld! just don't expect a high end handheld... the list of emulated devices is GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, MD, NES, MAME, CPS, FC, SMC, and SMD. There are well over 1,000 games loaded on the 32GB micro SD card, some duplicates and weird homebrew/clone games, with some in English and some in Chinese, Japanese, etc. the emulation quality is pretty good especially for the price! I would highly recommend this handheld for anyone that just wants a little emulation handheld for on a plane, bus ride, or long trips, or just when you have some downtime!

Cheap little handheld. Very light for its size. I feel like there is a lot of empty space in there and can be slimmed down. Not sure why it was chosen to be larger than need be. Size is clunky and feels cheaper than others in the same price bracket. Screen contrast is meh. Black looks faded out. Honestly, not the best system at the price point. But, it runs some decent games and accepts custom roms. So, there you have it. Under $20 and makes a good gift for the kids.
